Our Story in 2014-2015…
We did a wonderful ins-PI-re Workshop in collaboration with the Aboriginal program at our school, James Kennedy Elementary. This workshop is linked to our interest in the Network of Inquiry and Innovation and Aboriginal Enhancement Schools.
Joining us for the day were: intermediate students from our school; Luke Dandurand the Aboriginal Worker; Cameo Rempel who taught a lesson on coding in Python; Dr. Sam Pimentel whom showed us how to code the Fibonacci sequence; and Ms. Dandurand who is an elder for the Kwaltwen nation to present the awards at the end of our day.
