Makers Making Sweet Smelling Soapy Innovations!

Let the makers make… So a small group of James Kennedy Elementary kids made soap-iscles!  Yes, soap like a popsicle!  Each child got to create their own soap with a variety of colours, scents, flowers, glycerine and goats milk  We had a wonderful time making the soap from scratch and our wonderful soap expert Pauline Albert and her team Gabrielle and Joshua were great coaches.

We have applied to our Langley School District to get grant for a Socialprenuer intiative where students create a business to promote kindness in our community.  So we are hoping to nurture our school garden to grow herbs and flowers (lovely for our community to see).  Then we will put our grown herbs and flowers into our soapiscles to sell and to make our school sweet smelling with smiles!  A portion of our proceeds will go towards the Kidney Foundation of Canada since one of our students have been richly supported by this Foundation.
