Here is our final Raspberry Pi ins-PI-re Project reflection.
Thank you to SET-BC for giving us a Classroom Technology Grant for this school year!
It has been ins-PI-ring!
Please note: I was able to teach four workshops this school year about our project on the Raspberry Pi to educational professionals and a community group.
I had the privilege to share about our insPIre with a Langley Pi enthusiast group called The Langley Amateur Radio Group. The meeting was titled Fraser Valley Raspberry Pi Interest Group. The evening was full of various discussions, workshops and equipment sharing. It's wonderful to see the larger community getting insPIred!
Delicious Raspberry Pie added to the tasty night on Pi!

SET-BC who graciously gave us our grant to do our insPIre Project came to video all the amazing insPIration happening in our PI class. The students were great at being in front of the camera and showing that they're all excited about coding! Thanks to Flo and Gary for allowing us to share our excitement about PI. We are looking forward to seeing the edited version in May.

I have done four Pi workshops since we started our insPIre project… It's been great sharing all the exciting things we have been doing! Here's one of my presentations to share a 'snapshot' of our ins-PI-re Project.
My wonderful student teacher, Cameo Rempel who is in her third year at Trinity Western University taught a lesson on coding in Python with the Grade 7 class! Here is some of the exciting footage of the lesson:

Showing off ins-PI-ration!
The workshop of ins-PI-ring Technology: Raspberry Pi went excitingly well! There was a full class of educators from teachers to Tech support to a Special Education Assistant. I believe everyone left ins-PI-red!
Here are some photos from the day:

This Friday, I will be teaching a full class of educators about Raspberry Pi! The Provincial Professional Day Event is called Odyssey which is through the Langley School District to register go to www.thinklangley.com.
Here is the write-up about the workshop. Please excuse the grammar and spelling errors, somehow the edits didn't get to the Editor.
A note from one of the Grade 7's
There is a wonderful article in Forbes about the importance of teaching young people to learn how to code and channelling their creativity to make their own video games. Click on the link below to read all about:
